Evaluation of applications

  • 25 Aniversario Programa de Vacaciones del Imserso. Logotipo

The acquisition of the places for the various types of the Holiday Program requires a previous evaluation of the applications according to the following variables:

Age of the applicants

In this variable the age of the applicant will be evaluated, in coherence with the principles which report on and justify care for the elderly, obtaining a point for each year which they are over 60 years old. The top limit will be 20 points. The reference for the evaluation will be the age of the applicant on the 31st of December of the year in which the time period for the submission of the applications ends.

When there are two participants in the application, the age of both will be calculated with reference to the year of the parameter entered on the screen, calculating the average of the two ages and rounding up to the nearest integer.

Financial situation of the applicants

The monthly income of the applicant and, where applicable, of their spouse will be evaluated. In the case of the presence of a spouse the two incomes will be added together and divided by 1.33.

The maximum score will be 40 points and will be made according to stipulated income categories.

Participation in the Programs in previous years

This variable favours the access of new applicants to the Program

Likewise and for those users who have already participated in the Programs in previous seasons, it will be taken into consideration the period in which they have enjoyed their holidays, differentiating between the low season months (December and January) and high season (October, November, February, March, April, May and June). For this point the last two seasons of the Program will be taken into account.

In any case, for those people who have participated twice in the same season, it will be considered that they have travelled in high season independently of the fact that both trips may have been made in low season.

The maximum which has been estimated for this variable is 50 points.

The situations of both parties will be taken into account in the assessment of applications from married or de facto couples, and it will be necessary for both of them to meet the same requirements with respect to participation to obtain a higher score.

Numerous family

In virtue of that established in the Law for the Protection of numerous families, and through this article, access to the Holiday Program for those people who are in this position is favoured.

If, once all the variables taken into account in the scale have been evaluated, there are files with the same score, they will be sorted according to the date of birth of the applicant.

In the event where there are sons or daughters with a disability who accompany their parents, they will not be taken into consideration, assuming in every case the score obtained by their parents.
